Mark Guerra - Practice Director, Physiotherapist
Mark graduated from Latrobe university in 1991.
To build his vast experience and knowledge base, Mark has held several senior roles at Maroondah Hospital (Osteoarthritis clinician; Advanced physio in the Emergency department; co-lead of musculoskeletal leadership group).
He is currently completing his masters of musculoskeletal physiotherapy through Melbourne University.
He has had a variety of employment roles: adjunct lecturer La Trobe University, team physiotherapist (Ringwood East Football Club and Geelong Falcons U18) and project manager for Arthritis Victoria just to name a few.
He started RESSP back in 1995 and is now enjoying watching it continue to become a vibrant organisation with wonderful people supporting its patient centred values.
Interests: Health (personal and professional), sports (especially golf), family.
Jess Bullock - Physiotherapist
Jess has extensive experience in general physio including orthopaedics, OA (is GLA:D accredited), clinical exercise and sports injury rehab.
Jess provides in Rooms and Home Visit Physiotherapy. Jess has outstanding client rapport, with her caring client nature building the vital therapist-client relationship.
Away from work, Jess loves her local netball club where not only does she play, she is the president!
Interests: Family, Playing and Coaching Netball, Watching Football. Jess is the proud mother of two children, Gabby and Tom.
Andrew Hocking - Physiotherapist
Andrew Hocking completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011, before going on to finish a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at LaTrobe University. Andrew has developed a clinical interest in the lower limb, including the hip, knee, ankle and soft tissue injuries.
He enjoys working with all types of people, from elite athletes to the weekend warrior. Having postgraduate learning in occupational heath, Andrew has skills and experience working with people in the office setting with ergonomic set ups, and is able to help you with all other day to day aches and pains, including neck and back pain, headaches and more after a long day at work. Using a patient centred, evidence based approach, your goals are the main priority on the road to success.
Andrew has worked with many different athletes, but has most recently been working for Cirque Du Soleil with elite gymnasts, acrobats and even clowns. Before running away with the circus, Andrew worked with the Willamstown Seagulls and the Western Bulldogs in the VFL, Volleyball Australia and Hockey Victoria. He has also spent some time at Cricket Australia and Hockey Australia as part of his Masters placements.
Being a passionate cricketer and hockey player himself, Andrew understands the drive to get back and enjoy playing sport at any level.
On the rare occasion when there isn’t sport on the weekend, Andrew also enjoys getting away camping and 4WDing.
Alison Jane - Home Visit Physiotherapist
Ali Commenced with RESSP in 2019
Ali has extensive experience in domicillary physio including orthopaedics, general mobility and neurological rehabilitation.
Ali loves family time when she is not helping her clients reach their maximum potential.
Ali Lives in Mount Dandenong and is a proud mum to 2 boys.
Richard Hession - Physiotherapist
We are extremely fourtunate to have the services of Richard at RESSP. He is overseas trained (UK) and has completed his post graduate studies in chest physiotherapy.
There is not too much Richard doesn't know about how to make you breathe better from simple positional chest drainage techniques to assistive devices. Keeping your lungs as clear and as 'breathable' as possible is his passion.
Richard also runs courses at RESSP for those candidates who are trying to obtain their physiotherapy registration to enable them to work as a Physiotherapist in Victoria
Adriana - Practice Manager, Reception
Adriana is a Chartered Accountant with a financial planning specialty. She held a variety of roles with large Chartered accounting firms, with her focus being superannuation.
We are extremely lucky that post children, Adriana has now rejoined the workforce in our team managing the administration and reception side of the business.
Lauren - Reception
Lauren joined us mid 2019. She is studying Physiotherapy at Monash university and is keen to be the best receptionist she can be whilst developing her undergraduate Physiotherapy skills.
Neil - Reception
Neil is our newest staff member at RESSP, joining us late 2022. Prior to RESSP, Neil worked as a general manager for a local sporting club for almost 30 years. He is now looking forward to bringing this knowledge to our team.
